What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive with enough time for us to begin the Ceremony at 3 pm. The Milwaukee Club is a 5 min Uber from the Kimpton or approximately a 15 min walk.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Formal dress attire, please. Formal wedding attire sits between cocktail and black tie on the wedding dress code scale. It's slightly more elevated than cocktail attire and less dressy than a black-tie nuptial.

Are there any hair and make-up places close by the Kimpton Hotel for the ladies?

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Uber and Lyft's are the best form of transportation. Milwaukee also has a light rail in the downtown area that is free. There is a pick-up area 2 blocks from the Kimpton at St. Paul and Broadway Streets in The Third Ward. Please keep in mind everything is located closely in the downtown area for our special day, so we hope for great weather as Milwaukee is a fantastic walking city.

Yes, please see our room block link under 'Travel' for a discounted rate at The Kimpton. Otherwise, there are plenty of other options to Google should you prefer somewhere else.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, please note that on your RSVP card. We are only accommodating allergy requests as Bacchus is one of the best restaurants in the Midwest with a James Beard Chef nominee in Nick Wirth. We are quite confident this will not be a bad rubber chicken dinner as the 2 of us love great food, and of course great drinks to boot. You are in for a treat! - Bon Appetit!
